Introducing Compliance Genie: Instant Access to Payments Expertise, One Question at a Time

We've witnessed firsthand the struggle of our customers - hours spent trawling through massive rule books, endless web searches for precise information, or seeking expert guidance. We, too, have grappled with these hurdles and made a decision to change the game. 

It's with great excitement that we introduce Compliance Genie, a tool designed to provide immediate, precise, and helpful insights into payment regulations, beginning with the network rules of Mastercard and Visa.

A Response to a Real Payments Need

Our journey toward creating Compliance Genie started when we realized the immense challenge payments professionals faced. Complex regulations, layered within the 1,500-page rule books from Mastercard and Visa, presented a herculean task. This made even the simplest regulatory questions require a deep dive into thick documents, or worse, scouring the web for answers that often turned out to be misleading.

Recognizing this pain point, we brainstormed on how we could leverage AI to serve the payments community better. As we had previously partnered with Kapa.ai on a project to make our documentation more accessible, we decided to replicate the magic (quite literally!) with Visa and Mastercard regulations.

Collaboration and Creation

The process started with providing Kapa.ai with the Visa and Mastercard rules, along with commonly asked questions from the payments community. Leveraging their expertise, Kapa.ai trained an AI model on this large data set, transforming the extensive documentation into an accessible knowledge base.

Meanwhile, our team worked on creating an intuitive interface that would make it easy for payments professionals to access and interact with this AI. Naming this tool was straightforward - Compliance Genie, because, well, it works like magic!
