# February 2025 Changelog

## Google Pay

Dedicated Google Pay implementation removes [PCI Level 1](https://blog.basistheory.com/pci-compliance-levels) Requirement for merchants. This allows merchants to capture the DPAN or FPAN from a [Google Pay implementation](https://blog.basistheory.com/apple-pay-google-pay-setup#google) without touching the underlying data—enabling them to send these values to any processing partner.

## Token Intent Improvements

[Token Intents](https://developers.basistheory.com/docs/concepts/token-intents) now support all other token types to enable non-card use cases. This allows bank accounts and other data to be verified (e.g. Basis Theory Verification endpoint) before converting into a long-lived Token. 

We also added a Retrieve Token Intent ID endpoint to allow server-side verification of Token Intent data or the recapture of `card` details.
